About us? I have been excited about design since I opened my first box of 24 Crayola crayons. I remember opening the box

 and taking each one out to look at each color. I always wanted the 64-crayon set. Since that moment really, my life has been about color, texture, and feel.

I went to Indiana University to be a newscaster and was going to minor in graphic design. I couldn’t get into the graphic design class my freshman year, so I took an Intro to Design class. I found a major that made sense to me and was the best use of my talent. As a sophomore, I got my first design internship and I have never looked back.

When I walk into a space, I always feel something. I knew I wanted to create spaces that made people feel – healthy, calm, excited, and understood. The best thing about design for me is that I get to work with people and bring their visions to life.  

I still love creating exciting spaces. commercial flooring is fascinating to me because it is the foundation of any space, and it needs to be functional as well as beautiful. That’s a tough combination sometimes, but I love the challenge it provides.

Solving problems for clients and the people creating and designing their spaces is what drives me every day. I also make time for my husband, daughter and son, for my family and for my ever-growing group of friends. But I also make time for beautiful spaces that push me to find my creativity over and over.

With years as a designer, combined with deep technical skill, we have found the perfect balance between design and function within commercial flooring
